Best omakase experience! From sitting next to the chef, engaging in interesting conversations about Japanese culture, to the excellent service and gorgeous glassware. The food was delicious, and we tried the sake pairing—it was a great idea, as it complemented all the courses on the menu. Definitely a well-earned Michelin star!

My girlfriend and I have slowly been making our way through the plethora of omakase restaurants in NYC. I reserved this tasting counter for her birthday and we were not disappointed. This was the most high end tasting we’ve done, yet the staff and the chef did not make the environment feel rigid or too proper. They were professional yet personable, very knowledgeable and made the experience an incredibly fun time for all. They kept things loose, for lack of a better term. The chef had a great charisma and you could tell he took such pride in his work. The food, immaculate and well done. At one point the chef asked if there was too much or too little wasabi in the nigiri. I simply replied “it’s perfect” because he was a true master of his craft. The environment was incredibly welcoming and it felt as though the staff loved what they did. We received a complimentary glass of bourbon and white wine for my girlfriend’s birthday, a wonderful end to the night. The pictures I took are limited as I try to immerse myself in the experience while I’m there, but the food was too beautiful not to grab a few pics. Well worth the money, do not hesitate to book!

The sushi counter is a beautiful and intimate setting for 6 people for a 2 hour event. Couples are seated close to one another but far enough away from other customers to feel comfortable and private. All 6 customers are served by a single sushi chef who gladly converses with patrons. The waiters are knowledgeable about each drink, especially for the sake pairing which was ordered by the couple next to us. For $385 per person, we were treated like royalty and the quality of the sushi, sashimi, appetizers, and dessert were fitting. It’s a great dining experience that should be saved for a special occasion. Given the cost, however, I would not come here on a regular basis given the diminishing returns on omakase once they exceed $100-200.

Quite simply one of the best Omakase experiences available in New York City. Unbelievable hospitality, fantastic service, and the highest quality of ingredients possible. If you’re weighing noda against any other options, I’d highly suggest not overthinking it and booking noda. We will be back many many more times.

Second time dining here and first time after their relocation to the current address. Same level of food quality and service. Can’t praise more about this amazing restaurant. Noda has one one Michelin star but honestly better than many of the 2 stars I’ve been to. Ingredients are fresh and unique, chef very professional and friendly. Come try it and you will not regret it.

All style & all substance 🥳 Such a joyful and talented chef, every course was perfection. Strong flavors yet traditional, honoring the ingredients. Hospitality makes you feel right at home. Tim is professional rizz at its best👌. Charisma oozes out and makes sure you have a good time from the moment you step in🙏🏻. If I haaaaaaad to nitpick, I was waiting for my scallop substitute but never got a replacement piece of dish 🙇🏻‍♀️

Phenomenal experience. One of the kind establishment. Romantic seating, wonderful staff that just takes your experience to the next level. Beautiful entrance with a lovely and whimsical speakeasy bar where we enjoyed divine cocktails before our omakase feast. Chef Tsunoda was friendly and engaging. Seeing him prepare each dish was like watching a personal and intimate art performance. We can’t wait to come back.

We’ve been to other omakase establishments, but each and every time, we find our way back to NODA! It has become our omakase home for my friend and I cause this really is the best place to get the freshest sushi in NYC! Each time its gets better and better. It’s only cause of NODA I started finding the appreciation for Uni. Their level of hospitality always make our experience so amazing each time. Can’t wait to see you all again soon! No Photos cause I want you all to experience it for yourselves!
